Chef Marty Blitz and Buccaneer Scott Brantley They have also greeted, served and seated the 3,000 guests attending each Taste of the NFL event.  "They" are students from local culinary schools such as Le Cordon Bleu and the Art Institute School of Culinary Arts who volunteer their time and talents to help ensure this Super Bowl "Party with a Purpose" runs smoothly.

"We always have so many people interested in volunteering at our event and it's absolutely appreciated.  However, we chose to use all culinary students to fulfill our volunteer needs whenever we can," said Mark Haugen, Taste of the NFL Chef Director.  "It's a perfect partnership between the culinary students and the Taste of the NFL.  The students are eager to learn and work alongside some of the country's top chefs.  In return, our chefs get experienced volunteers to help them prep for the event."

Culinary and hospitality students also serve as front-of-the-house volunteers assisting with guest check-in, silent auction and raffle coordination, merchandise sales, and more. "Using local culinary students to support the volunteer opportunities at the Taste of the NFL is a natural fit for our event," said Haugen. "The culinary schools look forward to having the Taste of the NFL event come to their town during Super Bowl as it gives their students a very 'hands-on' chance to learn from some of the best in the industry."
